Identity and website design for London based set designer and art director Alice Andrews. The objective of this brief was to reflect the character of the set designer, her range of personal work and character, while remaining suitable for client facing projects. To do this I paired P22 Mayflower for the logotype – a classical roman font taken from the bible of 1610, likely carried by the pilgrims on the Mayflower, in italic, supported by Helvetica Now as the supporting type. This captures the personality of Alice, and draws reference from the old but brings it into the 21st century by pairing it with the new.
