Identity, site-design and development for Florence Devereux, a London based curator. Florence’s practice focused on experimental, non-commercial and socially engaged art-making and performance. The challenge presented in this project, was that as Florence’s work is often ephemeral – workshops, performance’s, residencies etc, and is less about a polished output and more about a shared experience that happens in a moment in time. As a result a lot the documentation is very low-fi utilising old digital camera’s and images captured by participants on smartphone’s. 

My solution to create a compelling visual experience using this source material was to create an interactive system whereby only selected images are visible on land, and most lead with a with a small descriptive caption of what is taking place in the image, as this was often very interesting. Then by clicking on a caption module, it inverts to display the image once intrigue has been achieved.
